The EEG & Snoring Clinic provides a comprehensive diagnosis and treatment service for patients with Sleep and Neurological Disorders.
We provide a thorough assessment by a ENT Surgeon and Physicians and diagnostic testing for sleep and neurological disorders including overnight polysomnography and screening for Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, multiple sleep latency testing for Narcolepsy and Neurophysiology testing for patients with Neurological disorders such as Epilepsy.

Percy obtained his National Diploma in Clinical Technology (Neurophysiology) 1991 at ML Sultan Technikon (Durban Institute of Technology). Between 1993 to 1999 he worked as a Clinical Neurophysiology Technologist at Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. In 2002 he was offered a position as senior Clinical Neurophysiologist at Beaumont hospital, Dublin, Republic of Ireland where he worked for two years. He was then appointed Senior Clinical Physiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and then at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre, Brighton and Sussex University Hospital NHS Trust, United Kingdom. He returned to south Africa in 2010 to further develop Neurophysiology and Sleep Services here
Percy has obtained a Masters of Science in Epileptology in 2007 at Kings College London, United Kingdom and is also registered as a Clinical Neurophysiologist in the United Kingdom.

Diagnostic Services
Sleep Studies
We have created a state-of-the-art sleep studies facility for overnight Polysomnography (PSG) studies at The EEG & Snoring Clinic. Our in-house technologists observe and analyse these studies that provides information on Brain Activity, Respiratory Function, Muscle Function and a variety of other variables that are essential for the diagnosis of the more complex sleep disorders.
PSG is particularly useful for the diagnosis of Obstructive Sleep Apnoea, Narcolepsy, Parasomnias, Restless Legs Syndromeand Neurological Disorders such as Epilepsy and Parkinson’s Disease.
Neurophysiology Studies
The EEG & Snoring Clinic provides a comprehensive number of investigations for neurological disorders such as Epilepsy and Neuromuscular Disorders including and not limited to::
- Routine Electro-encephalograph (EEG)
- Ambulatory EEG monitoring (Holter)
- Electromyography (EMG)
- Long Term EEG Monitoring and,
- Nocturnal epilepsy Monitoring
